Symphony Honolulu is the 2013 title sponsor of the Hawaii Youth Symphony (HYS). This year, HYS pays tribute to the “Golden Ages of Waikiki” – a magical era in Waikiki’s golden history of entertainment, recreated through the musical talents of headliner Jimmy Borges and world-renown exotica band The WAITIKI 7. Famed Waikiki showman, entertainer and actor Al Harrington will serve as master of ceremonies.

Experience ARTafterDARK for the last time this year. ARTafterDARK is the Honolulu Museum of Art’s monthly art party organized by a dynamic group of young volunteers dedicated to exploring the arts. October is the last month ARTafterDARK will be open this year. Don’t miss the fun!

Every Wednesday, 4:00 – 7:00 PM

Enjoy farmed goods and freshly-made foods by some of the island’s favorite and up-and-coming chefs, restaurants and farmers. Be sure to check out “featured farmer” Dr. Sun and his famous Kahuku-grown sea asparagus.

Parking is free at the Blaisdell for Farmers’ Market patrons.
